SURPRISE!: book recomendation (#1)

heyyyy! Surprise! I'm back. So I've decided that every once in a while, along with my usual post, I'll give you a book recommendation! I'm a HUGE book worm, so I thought this would be a cool series to start.

My first recommendation is *drumroll*... Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo!

Full disclaimer... I haven't actually finished the book, I'm only about halfway through, but it is SO FREAKING GOOD. It's about this teenager, Kaz Brekker, and he basically has a gang called the Dregs. It takes place in a fictional city called Ketterdam, and a lot of the characters are from a Russia-inspired country called Ravka. Kaz gets an offer to do a heist for a lot of money, to bring to safety the creator of a dangerous drug who is being held captive for the recipe. He enlists "a convict with a thirst for revenge, a sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager, a runaway with a privileged past, a spy known as the Wraith, a Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums, and a thief with a gift for unlikely escapes." I accidentally bought the second book, Crooked Kingdom at Barnes & Nobles, and it was so good I had to go to Book Culture to buy the first one! Now, quit reading this post and go read this amazing book!
